But its future is under threat. In the face of the nature and climate crisis, wildlife is declining at an alarming rate. Pollution of our waterways, lack of space for nature, and poorly planned development is putting more pressure on Warwickshire’s wild creatures.

Warwickshire Wildlife Trust is bringing wildlife back, empowering people to take meaningful action for nature, and creating a society where nature matters. Our vision is of a thriving natural world, with our wildlife and natural habitats playing a key role in helping to solve the climate and ecological emergency. By supporting local Warwickshire business, The Wooden Chopping Board Company, 10% of the retail price of these beautiful conservation themed boards will be donated to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

These orangey-red dogs with their bushy tails can be seen in towns and the countryside. They come out mostly at night but can also be seen during the day if you’re lucky! The red Fox is our only wild member of the dog family. They are not fussy eaters and will happily munch on small mammals, birds, frogs, worms as well as berries and fruit! Foxes that live in towns and cities often adapt to city living by scavenging in bins to look for scraps. A male fox, called a dog makes a barking noise whereas the females, called vixens make a spine-chilling scream sound.
